Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress most well-known for her roles in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16, she had already landed several television roles, for instance, the lead in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. After her critically acclaimed role in the TV movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable characters like Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, on Downfall. This film was nominated for an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial success. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominees featuring models. Through the years, Alexandra has worked in several important international and national productions.
