She began appearing regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms in 2012. In 2012, after she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) in 2012, she began appearing regularly in various panel programs. In 2016 and 2017, she served as a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Additionally, she was a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her are Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. The only female winner of So You Think You're Funny in 2012. The surname of Bea is in honor of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh'Sullivan' was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet who was killed when Bea turned three, was an sufferer of self-harm. She was told about his suicide only after 13 years old. As a way to honor her father, she took the stage name Bea and in 2017 wrote an article about suicides in her family for The Guardian. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher, jockey trainer, and professional jockey for a time. The family was passionate about horses and races. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the race industry was not for her.
